2024 Fire-Ed Up Summative Challenge – What Fires You Up?
Bushfire technology has come a long way.
In this short competition, let us know what new idea or improvement on existing designs or technologies fires you up for preventing damage to homes, lives & our environment!
- Showcase what you have learned through the Fire-Ed Up resources as well as your own research.
- In 90 seconds (video) or via a poster, tell us why a given technology is so important to have further research allocated to it.
- Individual or team submissions allowed.
Entries close April 14, 2024
Prizes
Stage 3 winners will receive a $100 prize and runners-up $20
Stage 4 winners will receive a $150 prize and runners-up $50
Stage 5 winners will receive a $150 prize and runners-up $50
How to submit an entry for the Fire-Ed Up Challenge
Teachers must complete an entry form for each team. Entries can be either a video link for a pitch or a document file for the poster.

Note: video files need to be in the form of a link to either, YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive, Drop Box, etc (and set to “anyone can view”).
